The hot and happening hunk of Kollywood, Silambarasan (aka STR), injured himself while doing a daredevil bike scene for his Vaanam recently.

TOI understands that STR was riding a bike and lost balance and fell on the busy lanes of Triplicane in Chennai. The actor got up immediately, due to his quick reflexes, and recovered. Says the actor, "It was a touch-and-go situation as I could have easily been run over by the car that was behind me. I was taken to the hospital and given first aid for some bruises and the doctors had advised me rest for a few days."
But now, the actor has recovered and is raring to go. Says he, "Vaanam is almost 90 percent over as we have completed the talkie portion. Only parts of a song remain to be shot now. If all goes well, the film should be a Valentine's weekend release."

VTV Ganesh will rule 2011 along with STR

VTV Ganesh or Kaakha Kaakha Camera man as every one fondly call him is no wonder the innovation of  Tamil Cinema. Gowtham Vasudev Menon was the  man behind his acting and we can praise and applaud Gautham Sir for doing so.

With down to the earth calibre, Ganesh is making sure every one who hears his speach starts laughing. His way of interaction with the Press and Media was welcomed by them as they found him literally appaling.

And no wonder our Camera man is indeed one such by person. After sharing screen space with our STR Thalaivan Silambarasan in VTV , he his now acting along with STR in all his upcoming ventures.

Starting from Podaa Podi , Vaanam and Vettai Mannan STR is making sure that the Producer fits in some part of the movie. The Ace actor reclaims that he will act only with STR which has raised the eye brows of many. No wonder they are seen around all the places in town.

In Vaanam, Ganesh has given a riotic comedy with his slang and body language. Especially the scenes involving him singing bhajans is said to take the fans by laughter. We at Simbucentral wish this Producer – Actor – Friend of STR Silambarasan a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Shoot at Hyderabad

 

Simbu’s latest forthcoming film which is titled as ‘Vaanam’ in Tamil is currently undergoing its shooting in Hyderabad. The film is said to be a cool love entertainer that comprises of six songs tuned by Yuvan. Already a single song has been launched (Evandi Unna Paethan) which has both Simbu’s and Yuvan’s voice in it. The song has gained its popularity in its own way.

It is a city-based love story. Two beauties Shena Ullal and Anushka Shetty will share screen space with Simbu in this film. This film also is a multi starrer the crew has roped in big stars like Bharath, Prakash Raj, Sonia Agarwal and Saranya.
