T.R.SILAMBARASAN

T.R. Silambarasan (STR) born on February 3, 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He Is a Tamil film actor, director, playback singer and songwriter. He began his acting career doing many minor uncredited roles as a child artist, produced by his father T.Rajendar. He made his debut under his father´s direction in 2002 and has since acted in several films in lead roles.

Osthi

Osthe is an upcoming Tamil action film directed by S. Dharani, starring STR. A remake of the 2010 blockbuster Hindi film Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap and written by Dileep Shukla, it will feature Githan Ramesh, Richa Gangopadhyay, Sonu Sood, reprising his role from the original, Nassar and Revathi in supporting roles and Soundtrack composed by Thaman. The film is in post-production stage and is set to release on 24 November 2011.

Poda Podi

Podaa Podi is an upcoming Tamil romance - comedy film written and directed by debutant Vignesh Shiva, featuring Str, Shobana and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles, while Meena Latchman playing a pivotal role. The score and soundtrack of the film are composed by Dharan, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. The film, is currently in its production stage and is expected to release on February 14, 2012.

Vettai Mannan

Vettai Mannan is an upcoming Tamil action film written and directed by debutante director Nelson. The film will feature Str, Jai, Hansika Motwani, Deeksha Seth and Poonam Kaur Starring lead roles. It is produced by S. S. Chakravarthy and features background score and soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is expected to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously, while casting is still undergoing, with the film expected to release in 2012.

Kettavan

Kettavan is a trilingual upcoming film to be directed by Str, starring the director himself in the lead role and music score by his friend Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film will start rolling by next year.

Vada chennai

Vada Chennai is an upcoming tamil action film to be directed by Vetri Maran and Starring lead role by Str. This film is to be Produced by Dhayanithi Alagiri (Cloud Nine Movies) and features background score and sound tracks to be composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar.

Dear STR Fans, its time for celebration for all of us. Our Cute, Smart & Dashing Hero Silambarasan is celebrating his 28th birthday today.
Looking back, Simbu was born as Silambarasan Rajendar Parthasarty on February 3rd 1983 to Vijaya T. Rajendar and former actress Usha Rajendar in Chennai. He completed his schooling in Chennai and later on graduated in Audio Engineering. He is the elder one followed by two siblings. Simbu was introduced to silver screen by the title Little Superstar’ in his childhood. As a child artiste he did 11 films and made his debut as a hero with Kadhal Azhivathillai in 2002. STR born with multi talent has made his presence as a play back singer and with his future project Valiban is turning himself as a director.
This year is going to be a quite birthday as he is suffering from foot corns and was advised by the doctors for a surgery. STR’s handset was on a ringing mode from the past couple of days as his close pals are asking him “Where is the party to night?” .But suffering with the foot corns, Simbu is planning to host a dinner to his close friends today night. His friends surprisingly arranged a party for him at a seaside villa on ECR last night. Simbu has blown the candles, cut a huge cake and partied till early hours of the morning.
Coming to his professional front, Simbu has three films Vaanam  Poda Podi and vettaimannan in 2011.
